We've been supporting sustainable education and employment opportunities in Andong since 2009...
Andong is a displaced community about an hour from Phnom Penh. With little-to-no access to clean water, sanitation, education or medical care, we focus on practical projects that provide long-term, sustainable solutions in education, family support and income generation.
While small and independent, our goals are big and our approach involves local knowledge and engagement. Our model involves highly skilled international volunteers working with a wide range of Khmer employees, from teachers and caregivers to lawyers and construction project managers. We’re proud of the supportive team we’ve built and continue to develop – a team that is dedicated to the needs of the community, and to ensuring that we are accountable for every dollar of money donated.

90s QUIZ NIGHT: 30th August in Auckland
JOIN US FOR FUN AND FUNDRAISING...
It's been over five years since our 80s quiz night in 2019! We were blown away by all the support of the evening, getting us to reach our $10k goal. And, now we're back to to beat it with our 90s theme.
Covid scuppered a lot of our fundraising plans in the years that followed and it impacted Andong. But, we're now back up to pre-Covid capacity, supporting the community again with education and employment opportunities.
So much development happened during the time we were distanced. Phnom Penh's urban sprawl has given rise to new opportunities around the village. Our micro-financing projects have taken off, as the surrounding environment now includes a lot more wealth and custom.
And so, we're now investing in building a community centre for the people of Andong. A safe place for everyone to learn and grow - to be supported and to support others.
With just around 70% of the build funded already, this is what we'll be fundraising for during our quiz night. We hope you can make it!
