Educating and employing the community of Andong
Andong is a displaced community about an hour from Phnom Penh, with little-to-no access to clean water, sanitation, education or medical care. Since 2009, we've worked alongside the Andong community to create lasting opportunities through education, community support and employment. Alongside teachers and families, we're building practical solutions that strengthen the community and create futures for the next generation.
While small and independent, our goals are big and our approach involves local knowledge and engagement. Our model involves highly skilled international volunteers working with a wide range of Khmer employees, from teachers and caregivers to lawyers and construction project managers. We’re proud of the supportive team we’ve built and continue to develop – a team that is dedicated to the needs of the community, and to ensuring that we are accountable for every dollar of money donated.
